Q & A about Skype sessions

Is a session by phone or Skype as effective as person to person sessions?
Skype sessions provide great results. Clients have been amazed how connected we feel on all levels, and how quickly we  make powerful changes, (as if we were in the same room).

What are the advantages?
There are several advantages of an online session. You have easy access to me – an experienced high quality practitioner. There is no time driving in the car or finding a park. Additionally, the session takes place in the privacy of your own home at a time that suits you – you are able to relax and integrate more easily afterwards.

How do I prepare for a session?
Once you have booked an appointment time, I will email you a questionnaire. Fill this in and email back to me at least 24 hours prior to your session.
Make sure Skype is configured correctly and working well. Alternatively, I am open to using facetime and other online communication options that suit you better.  Find a comfortable, safe and private place to sit in advance. Have a glass of water beside you (and tissues, just in case emotion bubbles up).

Who calls who?
I will call via Skype two minutes prior to our scheduled appointment time. This extra couple of minutes gives us the opportunity to check the technical quality of sound/picture.

What if Skype doesn’t work due to poor quality sound or picture?
In a worst case scenario of poor quality, we will re-book, however this is rare.

How will I feel during and after a session?
As you move towards feeling better in yourself, we may touch on difficult emotional material. That’s a good thing, as we want to resolve unhelpful patterns that do not serve you as a woman or mother.  Some people feel happy and laugh a lot during a session, while others may cry or experience a range of other emotions. Tears are a welcome clear sign that we’re making progress and ‘stuck energy’ is moving. It is my job to keep you feeling safe and taken care of throughout our session.

Afterwards you may feel refreshed and energized or feel like you need a quiet rest. Most people feel lighter and more free.  It’s a good idea to schedule an hour of quiet time after the session.

Tapping or EFT seems weird. What if I don’t want that included in my session?
Yes, I thought it sounded weird when I first heard about it too. In any session, we will only include and do what feels right for you. In my experience, tapping or EFT speeds up the process of reducing stress and feeling better about almost anything. Don’t just believe me, try it out for yourself.

How many sessions will I need?
My intention is to get rapid results, to share powerful skills and to send you on your merry  way ASAP. Often one session is enough. If you have experienced multiple traumatic events, 2-3 sessions may be necessary.

How experienced are you and can you help me with this particular issue?
No matter what you share with me, or what your needs are, I promise to meet you with kindness and I will dig deep to support you.
I have been working with women for over 20 years. I am trained as an EFT practitioner to level three with an EFT and NLP master. My understanding of emotional healing first evolved through 15 years of professional Shiatsu (acupressure massage) clinical practice, Shiatsu teaching and mindfulness meditation. I walk the talk and have personally used all the skills I share plus yoga and meditation daily to resolve difficult emotions and personal issues as they arise in my life.
